Mondays are rough. But for Hudson, this one hit a new low: a surprise pop quiz in first period.

He wasn’t thrilled.

As the teacher passed out papers, Hudson muttered—out loud— “Who wrote this, a monkey?”

The class froze. The teacher’s smile vanished. And before Hudson could explain (or backpedal), he was sent straight to the principal’s office.

Did he mean to insult anyone? Not really. He was tired, annoyed, and forgot that thoughts aren’t supposed to escape without permission.
